Information for ACC Clients

In 2008, ACC started an extensive review the way that it supplies services to survivors of sexual abuse. As a result of this review, ACC has developed the Integrated Sensitive Claims Services contract (ISSC) which focuses on clients getting what they need in a more holistic and seamless manner.

The overriding principle for all of the new services is that every client is supported. While there are changes to the stages and names in the new service, there is no reduction in the number of support sessions offered to clients. The new service is designed to be more seamless for clients so that they are supported to access the appropriate service according to their needs, whilst it also reduces the paperwork for providers, so that they have more time to concentrate on their clients.
